Maternity entitlement delayed
30-Oct-07 The government had planned to extend Statutory Maternity Pay, Maternity Allowance and Statutory Adoption Pay, however, these plans have now been delayed and will not be implemented in April 2009.
These changes would have seen paid Statutory Maternity Pay rise from 39 weeks to 52 weeks and the introduction of Additional Paternity Leave and Pay.
