As many of you know I spent yesterday in London, and yes there is certainly a buzz about the Capital that I don’t think really exists in any other city.
However, I think many of our London entrepreneurs would be in shock at the success of Northern based business, and this is something I want to start to pitch.
Bank of Scotland this year launched its first £25 million Corporate Entrepreneur Challenge.
Local company Daisy Communications, based in Nelson, Lancashire, has won the Northern Final and will now receive up to £5 million in interest free funding, yes interest free!
This is a fantastic challenge, with so much funding at stake this is far better than Dragons Den for any growing business.
