2008 has started off, where 2007 left off, with doom and gloom about the economy, worldwide not just the UK.
A recent report by Grant Thornton says the treasury will need even more money from taxpayers to plug its spending black hole.
We still have violent conflicts in various parts of the world.
Now stop right there, all these headline events only serve to sidetrack you from your objectives, and they should be to reassess your own direction and that of your business in 2008.
Ask yourself:
Did you achieve what you wanted in 2007, if not why not?
Have you re-evaluated your objectives for 2008, if not do so now!
Is your marketing working?
Is your website working for you?
Is your shop window drawing the customers in?
Are your staff contributing ideas to move the business forward?
Don’t get side tracked in 2008, let 2008 be the year you moved forward positively, let it be the year you put you and your business first and stopped worrying about those events outside your control.
