Is this you, are you in business by accident or did you plan for it?
The reason I ask is that a lot of people who I guess you could call entrepreneurs have kind off ended up that way having originally started on another path earlier in life.
One such person is Susan Reid who posted a great piece over at Small Business Trends. Susan’s posting is aimed at other ladies, she describes them as:
Accidental Pren-her’s, a woman who finds herself starting up a business for the very first time.
It’s interesting, we are seeing more and more female entrepreneurs, now whether they ever thought they would run their own business is another matter, but nonetheless they are doing.
I have mentioned before that female entrepreneurship is on the rise.
Susan goes on to list the top 10 characteristics of accidental female entrepreneurs:
1. You want what you are doing to make a difference in the world.
2. You like living life on your own terms.
3. You are not easily defeated. Where others see failure, you see opportunity.
4. You are a creative and innovative thinker.
5. You are a calculated risk-taker. Fear tempers you, not stop you.
6. You are highly self-motivated.
7. You have a wide range of interests and do many things well.
8. You engaged in entrepreneurial activities as a child.
9. You like making money.
10. You have an abundance of sustainable energy.
Now which are you, accidental or here by design?
