Today I read a posting on Seth Godin’s blog, its about gimmicks, and how eventually some gimmicks actually become the norm for example free phone telephone numbers (toll free) and Sunday openings.
Seth refers to a doctor who still practices traditional medicine, but has a practice for the 21st or 22nd Century.
It got me thinking, Seth is right, the challenge for not only me, but all my clients is, to be worth talking about!
Now, you would have thought he’d have given us a few hints and ideas wouldn’t you? Go read Seth’s blog, it’s blogs like Seth’s that are great for small businesses, here on the world wide web we have some of the best entrepreneurial, marketing and PR guys giving not only ideas but to some extent their knowledge away, for free, not that long ago you would have had to pay a fortune to listen to these guys talk, now you can read it for free.
It truly is an exciting and brave new world, be part of it.
